Job Title: Leeds Community Development Worker

The role will be to develop poverty relief activities across West Yorkshire and the Dales working with area champions groups in Wakefield, Huddersfield, Bradford, Ripon and Leeds.

Initially the role will be focused on Bradford where we expect significant amounts of investment in community integration activities.

Director of Communities & Partnerships – Canterbury Diocese

The role of Director of Communities & Partnerships is integral to promoting the social justice and rural agenda of Canterbury Diocese which is central to our Christian mission and ministry. The post holder will discern and be responsive to an evolving agenda, addressing government policy where appropriate and its effect on our local communities and their activities. You will lead and develop the work of the Framework, its specialists and constituent groups and foster partnerships with faith and secular organisations who share a common agenda with us.

Drawing on your theological training and study you will engage with parishes to deliver creative project outcomes sharing good practice across the Diocese.  With a high level of social skills you will continuously seek opportunities for emerging work.

Salary circa. £46k per annum
